Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

From 1998 to 2005, the self-employment programs within BeYourOwnBoss.org, organized this annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards event.

The Entrepreneur of the Year Awards debuted in 1998 with just over 100 attendees from three SE programs: EASE, Westcoast and Equity. Through the years the event evolved and become one of the premier small business events in the Greater Vancouver area.

The final event, Inspiration 2005, linked 600 business professionals, political and community leaders, 85 exhibitors, and for the first time since the awards inception, joined all the Self-Employment Programs under one event umbrella.
